Zofie was forced to talk during the visit. The aunties dislike the baby sign which I thought her and they wanted her to say ‘gong xi gong xi’ ‘讲…讲… 讲.. 恭… 喜….恭…喜….! 看我的嘴巴! 说恭… 喜…!’ Zofie was very excited when she reaches those places but after awhile when she was forced to talk she was unhappy. I believe she was not ready to speck those words yet.
She is picking up Chinese from me for the pass few days. Initially she says ‘再见…’ yesterday she started to say ‘谢谢.’ Whenever she needs my help she would come to me and say ‘谢谢’ but she doesn’t know how to ask ‘可以帮我?’ Today she was trying to follow me say ‘胡萝卜’ however not very accurate but I still praise her. She used to say ‘What is this?’ and ‘butterfly’. After three days these words were gone. The only English words I could hear from her were ‘car, ball, dog’ Her Chinese name has a word‘稞’ ‘ke’ and she pronounced it as ‘car’.
On Saturday Zofie lost herself in Ikia. While I was looking for something for a min and I thought she was just beside me I turned my head she was gone. I search all over the place and I couldn’t find her. Leo came to me and I said I lost her. We were searching for her high and low. We thought of going to the counter to make a report who knows the broadcast announced that they found a one year old child. Luckily we were in Singapore and not in any other countries. I was wondering why this time when she lost us she didn’t cry as loud as before. If she scream and cry I would be able to hear her clearly. While searching for Zofie the bladder was in pain and I badly needed to go toilet. The tummy was too heavy for me. While on the way my friend’s place my tummy was too painful although I had already went to the toilet. I was feeling very uncomfortable in the car I have no idea what to do but pray hard. I felt much better after I reached to destination.
We enjoyed a lot in Nat’s birthday party… She is so cute when they changed for her and she said ‘help! help
The cake is made of jelly and Zofie loves to eat them.
Water play...
Well... we will learn from falling.
