Feedback on Term 1 in school

Her teacher was telling me Zofie focus well on school and she finishes her work. She makes sure she will do her work properly. She is very independent in school which includes following the routine.
She needs sometime to settle down when she walked into the class. Maybe the reason is that is her nap time.
She has been talking about her classmate Durries. Initially I thought she talked to him because he has a Thomas but I was wrong. Durries speaks well and he is very good with playing with girls. The teacher told me Durries is very popular among the girls. I am the 3rd or 4th parent asking about Durries. Teacher told me Durries has a very cute chubby face with a sweet smile.
Basically Zofie has no problem with her motor skills and she loves out door play. The teacher would put the toys on the table without teaching her to see if she is able to sort out the colours. She can play very well with her friends and she loves to sing. Zofie has a very loud voice while singing. ( I think that was the reason why she cried so loud when she was a baby.)

The mandarin teacher was telling me when she first went into Zofie’s class; Zofie was the only student who is able to understand her. The rest of the children were all running around the classroom. The mandarin teacher went to Zofie and asks her if she understand what she is talking about. Zofie nod her head. The mandarin teacher asked her to point to the body part and she did it all correct.
I told the teacher due to the last experience with the ccc mandarin teacher I had put in a lot of efforts at home to make sure Zofie pick up her mandarin.

Mandarin teacher : “招招手, 招招手…” (Hello song)
Zofie always be the first student to ans: “ 稞壬你好!” (Hello Zofie)
When the teacher sing hello to Zofie’s classmate, Zofie will go to each one of them and say hello to them. (I never know she can be so ‘kaipo’)

Students were encouraged to borrow books from school everyday. Each time she told the mandarin teacher: “我接过这本书…” ( I ever borrow this book before)
Mandarin teacher ask her: 是谁读给你听? (who read this to you)
Zofie ans: 妈妈 (mummy)
Mandarin teacher said: 你可以接另一本? (can you now borrow another book?)
Zofie will take another book.
I told the teacher I am so glad that she knows I read to her. Usually when I read Chinese books to her she will not want to listen. This shows that when she is not looking doesn’t mean she is not listening.

When Zofie and her friends were playing with the kitchen set sometimes she would pretend to make a dish for the teachers too. When the teacher complains it is too hot she would pretend to blow the spoon then feed the teacher.

In school Zofie sang the song ‘恭喜! 恭喜” she was jumping up and down while singing and towards the end she will say “红包一个来!” The mandarin teacher told me she had a good laugh.

Mandarin teacher always ask: “谁最棒” (Who is the best)
Zofie will shout “Zofie最棒” (Zofie is the best)

Before Zofie lost her barney she always bring it to the school and when the lesson start she would say “Barney 要睡觉” (Barney wants to sleep) and she will put barney at the side lying down.

Zofie in school is so different when she is at home. It looks to me that she participate more in school then at home. When I asked her to sing Chinese song she will answer me no. But in school she enjoys it. I missed her last performance which I didn’t get the email. The teacher said she sang it very loud with confident together with Derris and 2 to 3 classmates.
