Initially I thought she will cry in another new environment. To my surprise after she put down her bag and came back from the toilet she went straight into the class on her own. She set on the chair with her new friends and she said ‘bye bye mummy.’ That was too happy to be true. Since she was fine, I brought Jana and my mom to go shopping. After 2 hrs we came back and fetch her.
The 2nd and 3rd day of school she did cry a little, because she was too tired but after that she was fine.
The forth day of school she continued to sleep, from 2pm to 4.15pm. The teachers allowed her to lie down at the corner. Anyway this was only orientation week, should be fine if she nap and miss the lesson.
I couldn’t put her in the AM session; the wait list was too long. I could only gamble and try luck to get the last place in the PM session which someone just gave up this place at the very last minute. Hopefully one day there is one AM slot for Zofie.
The feedbacks from the teachers were, Zofie was very independent and she didn’t want any help from the teachers. She could go toilet on her own without help.
Oh yes! I forgot to talk about her toilet training in this blog. Well, Zofie is still not 100% toilet trained. She still needs to put on her diaper at night before sleep. However there were a few morning she told me she needed to go toilet, when I checked her diaper that was dried. When she peeped around during the last 6 months that was terrible, now I can see it pays the effort.
