First time at JG Forum

Yesterday 10 April 08 9pm, Zofie tried to take her first step. After the first step she fells but didn’t cry. She was very happy smiling at me and Leo for giving her encouragement as she made the first step. Today 11 April 08 afternoon, Zofie tried her first step again… then fell…I just feel that she was a bit slow in walking. There isn’t much space at home to let her crawl and learn to stand independently. Most of the time she relies on furniture. If I were to bring her down to the garden and do more practice I guess that would be quite difficult. Because morning I will have to bring her out for lessons, and evening time its always raining…

We sign up with JG Forum and today was the first lesson. I thought they were good. But I just feel that it turn out to be disappointing. The teachers that zofie got wasn’t very interactive to the babies. The good part was there was a teacher playing guitar and the rest will sing. Zofie always wave her arms with the music. But this time when Zofie saw the teachers sang…She sits in the middle of the circle and just stare at the teachers. Maybe this was her first lesson also her first time watching a mini live music performance. I remember seeing Wei Wei’s daughter Nat in the video enjoyed and danced with the music. I thought that was cute.



One interesting part… the teachers encourages the babies to use cooked noodles to do painting. Luckily I’ve trained her at home not to be afraid of getting dirty. If not, I believe Zofie will be screaming and crying in the class seeing her hand full of red and orange color. She love to touch, feel and explore the colored noodles.
