In Tumble Tots

Zofie finally crawl through the tunnel after trying it for 3 sessions. Initially she was afraid of the tunnel because the tunnel was dark and narrow. When she finally crawl through the tunnel me and Leo was happy but tired. This is the first time I sweat so much in a baby class. Long ago when I was one of their staffs I didn’t like baby class. I thought that was a slow and boring class. Babies can’t interact with us. Unlike the walk to 2 or 2 to 3 classes, the children will say hi to you and hug you. Oh, that’s so sweet of them and were very cute. But since I know the program very well and I know how those boring and not so colorful equipments will help the children especially in their later stage as a child, I try my best to encourage Zofie to move on the equipments. They cannot always crawl on the smooth surface (In our life we always go through obstacles. We have to know how to deal with those obstacles.) They have to learn that there is a height, how to come down from a high place be independent and not always call mommy for help. They have to learn to crawl on a slop and uneven surface. As they move on they will learn to share the equipments with their friends, wait for their friends to move then she herself carryon playing (Take turns). Just like a sports man on a field, he sees everything and takes control of the situation. The program helps to build up a child self confidence, character, learn to be independent and self discipline.

When I was the staff with Tumble Tots and parent tells me ‘my child work so hard in Tumble Tots whenever he reach home he will fell asleep.’ I thought that was a joke. True enough every time when we comes back from Tumble Tots classes Zofie fell asleep like a dead pig. Today she works extra hard and she fell asleep at 6pm without finishes her dinner and without bathing. I wonder if it’s her bad time or nap time now. I try to wake her up at 7pm to finish her meal and wanted to bathe her and she cried and screamed refuse to bathe. Now is already 8.30pm she is still on the cot sleeping. What happen if she wakes up at 12am?

If she can sleep, should continue letting her sleep.
